KYX roof rack crossbars are specifically designed for the 2013-2021 Grand Cherokee models with Grooved Side Rails, such as Limited, Overland, Upland, Summit, Trailhawk, and North Edition. These crossbars do not fit for models with black roof plastic moldings, including Altitude, High Altitude, SRT, L, Trackhawk, and All 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee systems. Please ensure the crossbars fit your vehicle before purchasing.

Reducing Wind Noise

At speeds below 80km/h (50mph), the wind noise is hardly noticeable. The KYX roof rack crossbars feature an aerodynamic design and come equipped with two new rubber strips that seal the upper opening, effectively reducing wind noise. For speeds above 80km/h (50mph), we recommend placing the rubber strips or Gorilla Tape at the bottom opening to further reduce wind noise.

Quick and Easy Installation

The KYX roof rack crossbars are designed for easy installation, taking about 15 minutes to assemble using an Allen wrench and a step-by-step illustrated manual. No drilling or cutting is required, and the T-track design allows for the attachment of other brands that also have T-track systems, making it easier to install and disassemble. To secure the crossbars, you need to use the key to unlock the footings and then tighten them to the rails.

Enhanced Security and Stability

Two of the four grippers have locking mechanisms to cover the hex screws, making it more difficult for the crossbars to be stolen. The upgraded slot groove design holds four end caps together, preventing them from falling off and ensuring a secure fit.
